Countdown to Nerd Prom

As I type this, we are 8 Days and 2 hours from Comic-Con International-San Diego.

GAHHHHHHHH!

Frantically trying to get things ready and hopefully I'll be set come 9am on the 12th when the plane takes off from BNA. (Nashville for those not up on their baggage tag codes.)

*Money. Hopefully I'll have enough. That's one of the more stressful aspects of the trip.
*Books. Sending my last box out today. Ed is sending a few DWP's as well to fill the gaps.
*Banner. [praying] Please let it be there...please oh please.
*Writing samples. Need to put the finishing touches on the packet, but just about ready.
*Pitch packet. Miss Vicky pages are being lettered.
*Business cards. Designed. need to get a new color cartridge to print them out.
*Hotel. Confirmed...little jarring to see that chunk taken out of my account a month after I expected, but I'm set.
*Shoes. watching the cash so I'll be snagging a $10 set of sneaks from Wallyworld rather than a $40 pair of New Ballance.
*Part Timers. Alicia isn't quitting until after I get back. David's doing morning this week to get used to it (and so my body clock will adjust). It's covered.

Cross your fingers sports fans. This is going to be bizarre.
